Red Bar and Lounge
Olé! Cinco de Mayo meets up with Taco Tuesday this year and brings Chef Jason’s Taco Bar creations to Red Bar and Lounge. This celebration includes $2.50 Mexican beers and all-day specialty cocktails like the Mexican Lollipop, Tequila at Dawn and Mexican Mule. Starts at 3pm.
La Vida Cantina
La Vida Cantina will be the place to be on Tuesday, May 5, with an all-day Cinco de Mayo celebration that will include specially priced margaritas, beer, tequila and tacos. Live guitar and vocals will add to the fun with Freddy Zuma from 4 to 7 pm, and Victor and Jose from 7:30 to 10:30 pm.
Chipotle
The countdown to Cinco de Mayo has begun! Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen
Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen, Brea Downtown’s popular dining experience, invites guests to an all-day Cinco de Mayo fiesta, featuring a live Latin band, mariachis and drink specials. On Tuesday, May 5th, starting at 11:30 a.m., guests can enjoy half-priced shots from their vast selection of premium blue agave tequilas, award-winning grande margaritas for $15, or a shot of tequila paired with a beer for $10. In addition, the entire menu will be available including Chef Joe Martinez’s signature items, like the Seafood Caldo with Mahi Mahi, shrimp, clams, squid, saffron-tomato broth, herbs, toasted angel hair; Guajillo Braised Short Rib Enchiladas served open-faced with Pasilla chiles, goat cheese, fresh radish, achiote onions, and epazote black beans; and Aquachile with Mahi Mahi, cucumber, lemon juice, red onion serrano chiles, cilantro and mint.
Rubio’s Coastal Grill
This year, Cinco de Mayo happens to land on one of the best days of the week – Taco Tuesday – and Rubio’s wants to help you celebrate. The local restaurant chain known for pioneering the fish taco was ranked as the Best Mexican Chain in America (beating out Chipotle) by the National Consumer Reports survey, making it the perfect spot to commemorate this festive holiday.
Renaissance Club Sport Aliso Viejo
Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo on May 5 at the Renaissance ClubSport, there will be $1 tacos, tequila shooters, margarita specials, and lots of Corona. Families who bring their kids will find “child care” available at Kids World until 10 p.m., for ages 6 months to 12 years. The cost of the childcare is $20 for non-members and $15 for members, and includes a pizza dinner with fruit juice. Reservations are not necessary for adults, however they are required for the childcare.
Mi Casa
For 44 years Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant has had the perfect recipe for the ultimate Cinco de Mayo party: delicious Mexican food, ice cold fresh margaritas, music, and friendly staff all in a festive environment.
