Brio Tuscan Grille Introduces New “Moderno” Menu
One of my favorite things about Brio Tuscan Grill is that they are always featuring new and dynamic items to their menu. It keeps things fun and refreshing when there is always something new to try and recently Brio introduced their new Moderno menu.
This new menu puts an imaginative twist to Tuscan classics, focusing on fresh, chef-inspired ingredients. Low-calorie and gluten-free items are abundant on this menu and guests can request customized entrées to ensure that their cuisine of choice perfectly suits their palate.
Brio Appetizers
If there is one new item I can highly recommend to you it is the Buratta and ciabatta appetizer. Wow, this dish really spoke to me because the flavor combinations were seriously intense! It is served with Roasted tomato, EVOO, and grilled ciabatta. If you spread some of the tomato on the bread and then top it with creamy burrata it’s quite possible your eyes may roll into the back of your head.
Brio Cocktails
There are 2 new cocktails that pair nicely with the new menu items. First up is a Flirty Cosmo. It is made with absolute Mandarin, pama, pomegranate liquor, fresh lime and fizz 56. It was flirtatious and tasty. Next was a peach margarita. Ask for a salted rim!
New Menu Items at Brio
Steak lovers will enjoy the Center-Cut Filet Mignon (6 oz. & 8 oz.). I ordered mine medium and it came out perfect. The outside of the steak is crispy but the inside is tender. You will definitely need a side dish with this as it is a small portion size.
Seafood aficionados will love the Shrimp Risotto & Broiled Maine Lobster Tail. This dish is rich and wonderful. If you add some shredded parmesan cheese it really pulls all of the flavors together.
The jumbo lump crab cakes are also pretty amazing. Flakey crab is rolled into a ball and coated with seasoning while served atop a bed of crispy fingerling potatoes and crunchy green beans. The chef does such a great job with presentation on these dish, too.
A great way to add some green to your diet is to order the Maple Balsamic Brussels Sprouts. This sweet and salty side dish tastes great because it is carmelized to perfection.
Are Brussel sprouts too healthy for you? Order the fingerling potatoes, they are outrageous! They taste ike the Australian battered potatoes you can get at the fair. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They are even topped with a creme sauce.
Brio desserts
Be sure to save room for dessert. they have a great gluten-free option of flourless torte served along side , Marcona almonds, and olive oil gelato! Or you could sample the strawberry shortcake that has a yummy crumble on top.
If you are looking to dine al fresco, Brio has a lovely outdoor patio that has great sunlight and beautiful decor with a warm and modern ambience.
