HopScotch Announces Debut of Fall Cocktail Menu
When I think of fall, I think leaves, sweaters, boots, and yummy cocktails. You have heard me mention HopScotch many times on this blog and you will hear me mention it many more times because I really love this place. I am pleased to tell you that they have just introduced their new fall cocktail menu.
Developed by Director of Libations James Wood, the seasonal menu continues a tradition in offering inspiring handcrafted libations highlighted by premium spirits and fresh ingredients, including house-made mixers and syrups. As with its past seasonal menus, which have garnered “Best of” status, including a Best Cocktails nomination with the 2013 Golden Foodie Awards, the new menu promises to be equally impressive in taste and presentation.
In total, seven specialty drinks are now available following a special menu launch preview. Standouts include “The Buccaneer,” which is crafted with a saffron-infused gin, elderflower, lemon grass syrup and angostura bitters, as well as “The Tortuga,” which includes Tequila Ocho Plata, dry vermouth, cucumber, cilantro, and lime. Those who are anxiously awaiting the first cold snap of the season will likely delight in the “The Norrington,” which features cachaca, pineapple, lime, basil syrup, and all spice dram and is reminiscent of the flavors of the holidays.
