Happy Hour Menu at Lazy Dog Cafe

Dining with my friends is my ultimate happy place! I love sharing small plates, catching up with what is going on in my friends world and just sipping on a cocktail. Recently I did this with a few close friends at Lazy Dog Cafe in Cerritos and we were super pleased with their happy hour.

When is Happy Hour?

Happy Hour is every Monday through Friday from 3pm-6pm and on Sunday through Thursdays from 9pm to close. It’s located in the patio and bar area only.

Wet Your Whistle

I absolutely loved the Pink Lemon Drop Martini. It was made with skyy infusions citrus vodka, dekuyper triple sec, pink lemonade + sugar rim.

We also sampled the  wok fired calamari. It come with plum sauce, peanuts, bell peppers, steamed rice. I loved that they use potato starch as it gives this a nice texture.

The Mac + Cheese is exceptionally tasty. It’s even big enough to share!! It has smoked bacon, hatch chiles, five cheeses, and a green onion crumble

Personally, I am a die hard poke lover so when i saw it on the happy hour menu I couldn’t wait to try  it!  The  whole entree comes in a jar with sashimi grade ahi tuna, peanut vinaigrette, avocado, pickled cucumbers, wasabi dressing, and crispy wonton chips perfect for scooping.

If you are planning to eat lunch or dinner and need a bigger portion I suggest trying one of their bowls. A friend ordered the shrimp bowl and it was packed with all kinds of protein.

The Kung Pao bowl comes with onions, bell peppers, water chestnuts, peanuts. You can even take some ohome for leftovers the portion sizes are so big.

 

 

 

Lasty, steak will always win my heart over. Try Lazy Dogs Flat Iron 10oz steak with garlic butter. It’s served with waffle cut au gratin potatoes, seasonsal vegetables and housemade gravy on the side.
