Holstein’s Burger Restaurant to Open in South Coast Plaza
Some women get excited about new shoes, or diamonds, or a day at the spa. But not me. I get excited about new restaurants coming to the OC. I just found out that Holstein’s burgers & Shakes is coming to South Coast Plaza inside Bloomingdales and I am so giddy I could squeal. Do you know what this means?? It means how am I going to choose now between Anqi and Holstein’s? The struggle is real ya’ll.
The menu will include hand-crafted specialty burgers; garden fresh salads and for the first time, beer-inspired entrees. A returning menu favorite set to debut on the Holstein’s Orange County menu is the restaurant’s signature burger, The Gold Standard—featuring a dry-aged beef patty stacked high with tomato confit, smoked bacon, aged goat cheddar cheese with arugula. In addition to creative burgers and signature alcohol-infused “Bamboozled” milkshakes such as the celebrated Campfire S’mores, which includes Premium Marshmallow vodka, chocolate marshmallows and graham cracker crumble, the restaurant will boast one of Orange County’s preeminent beer collections with a Certified Cicerone on staff.
Holstein’s Shakes and Buns is poised to become a premier beer destination in Orange County, with a top selection of local, regional and niche beers that draw on Southern California’s distinguished brewery culture. Beer aficionados can expect creative beer programming, including brewers’ dinners and special events in the restaurant’s private dining “Beer Cave” – a unique climate controlled environment set below the main floor.
