Lemonade Debuts at Fashion Island
Hold onto your hats! There is a new restaurant coming to Newport Beach. The exquisite shopping Mecca Fashion Island is home to the new restaurant called Lemonade. It is a fast-casual modern cafeteria-style eatery known for its seasonal southern California comfort food. Lemonade will debut in Mid August.
Lemonade captures the southern California spirit of culinary adventure, and an appreciation of the freshest seasonal ingredients, highlighted in familiar dishes with innovative twists from Chef and Founder, Alan Jackson. “I like to think of Lemonade as a choose-your-own-adventure for lunch or dinner,” Says Jackson. “A delicious and healthy change of pace, Lemonade marries quality and convenience.”
The best part of this fast casual concept is that shoppers can eat quick, yet healthy in this grab and go lunch and dinner venue. Visitors are invited to continue the “shopping” experience at Lemonade as it allows patrons to “eat with their eyes” by grabbing a tray and selecting from a buffet of prepared hot and cold dishes displayed at the counter. As with all Lemonade locations, the eatery will offer around twenty marketplace salads, slow-cooked braises, artisan sandwiches, soups, decadent desserts and of course quenching flavors of lemonade. Unique to the new Orange County location will be a wood burning oven for roasting vegetables and flatbreads and a rotisserie for preparing whole roast rib-eye, leg of lamb and chicken. “We are thrilled to open Lemonade in Newport Beach,” says Ian Olsen, Chief Operating Officer of Lemonade Restaurant Group. “After a long search for the ideal location in Orange County, we believe Fashion Island is a perfect fit. We are excited to bring our relaxed L.A. approach of contemporary California cuisine to the on-the-go shoppers or patrons catching a movie at Fashion Island.”
Lemonade’s new outpost in Fashion Island will offer an abundance of seating in the bright, modern 3,800 square-foot space, which includes both indoor and outdoor seating, just steps away from the Fashion Island movie theater.
