Lucci’s Italian Deli
Growing up in Huntington Beach I had the privilege of regularly stopping in at one of Orange Counties finest Italian Deli’s, Lucci’s. They have the best selection of cold cuts, side dishes and amazing cookie that you cannot find anywhere else. Unfortunately I live a lot further now and getting there is not as easy. But last weekend we were in HB for some family time and we stopped in for lunch. My dad used to take me to Lucci’s as a little girl and I always remember the excitement I had waiting in line for a divinity cookie after I ate my spaghetti. When we arrived we quickly order the kids some grilled cheese sandwiches. To my daughter’s surprise they came out very quickly and they were topped with sprinkles!!! Seriously, my daughter squealed with delight. It was just a simple touch that really made my daughter eat well and want to finish her entire plate. 
My chef salad was huge and covered in fresh Italian meats and cheeses. 
The spaghetti was also really tasty and my kids enjoyed the marinara sauce as it wasn’t too spicy. 
After our meal our waitress walked us over to a section on the side of the store and gave my son some gluten-free cookies since he couldn’t eat the regular ones.
