MOD Pizza Laguna Hills
The fast-casual restaurant concept has been extremely successful for many chains. In a world full of time crunches and deadlines customers are always on the hunt for food that is quick but tastes better than fast food. This is especially helpful to families that have young children who cannot sit through a long meal. MOD pizza (Made on demand) in Laguna Hills the perfect solution. This fast casual pizza joint serves up fresh, custom-made pizzas exactly how you like it.
MOD Pizza Interior
MODS interior is fun and eclectic. There is a collage of photos on one of the main walls and a collection of personalized MOD stickers on the wall across from it. There is a really great story behind some of the photos as well. It is a heartwarming story about a boy from Ethiopia. Be sure to ask one of the managers about it when you go in.
Beverages
What I loved about MOD is that they have a wide selection of drinks beyond the typical soda machine. But best of all their ice dispenser gives out crushed ice!!!(Think sonic ice). To me there is nothing better than crushed ice in my drink and it instantly puts a smile on my face. One drink in particular you should try is their carmelized pear iced tea. It’s better than passion fruit iced tea and healthier than soda. MOD also serves up floats, hand-spun milkshakes, and best of all beer and wine.
MOD Pizza
Ordering your pizza is easy and quick. You can pick from an endless option of toppings or you can choose one of their top 10 popular pizzas. All of the ingredients looked very fresh and the meats were pink and full of color. I chose a mix of one of their top 10 pizzas (The Caspian) and customized it to how I like it. Did you know: If you create a pizza and don’t like it, you get a do-over free of charge. (Everyone makes mistakes sometimes). Did you also know: MOD offers an amazing gluten-free crust for a few bucks extra.
Dessert
Save room for dessert because MOD has some pretty cool creations. Below is a sample of some of their sweet treats
Overall Vibe
One thing I noticed while at MOD was that the employees seemed genuinely happy to be there. They were all smiling and seemed to have great attitudes. Chris the general manager was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We are looking forward to going back to try a new pizza and get a root beer float!
