New Fall Menu Items at Boudin Bakery
Fall is officially here, and Boudin Bakery has some delicious new menu items to please your palate. I recently tried all of the items at a media tasting and I think you will love all of them all. of them have such unique flavors and really embrace the feel of this fall season.
We started with a Roasted Butternut Squash & Kale Salad. This is a very beautiful salad and has the added flavor a red quinoa. It was light and filling it pairs really nicely with a Kendall Jackson Chardonnay.
We also sampled a butternut squash that would be a perfect combo for a salad. This soup can also be served in a sourdough bread bowl.
Next up was the Ham ‘N Brie on Rosemary Focaccia. Wow, the flavor points in the sandwich are really impressive and it is extremely visually appealing as well. This would be a great sandwich to share as it is filling with the fresh, fluffy focaccia bread.
And lastly we sampled the new Sourdough Philly Sandwich, made with sliced roast beef, red peppers, and provolone cheese. This sandwich will melt in your mouth and goes great with a glass of Pinot Noir from Creme.
We also had the chance to meet corporate Chef Alan Skversky who enlightened us on his inspiration behind creating all of these new menu items.
Special thanks to Boudin Bakery for hosting such a fabulous and family friendly event!
You can find these new menu items at your local Boudin Bakery.
Fun Fact: Did you know Boudin Bakery has been around since 1849? In 1849, the Boudin family struck culinary gold. Wild yeasts in the San Francisco air had imparted a unique tang to their traditional French bread, giving rise to “San Francisco sourdough French bread.” Today, the Boudin family’s initial recipe lives on in the hands and hearts of expert bakers.
