New Interactive Kids Menu At Mimi’s Cafe
There is a fun new menu for kids at Mimi’s Cafe. The new menu features a best friend cat-and-dog duo Elle and Pierre who travel through France together while helping kids choose a main dish, side and drink.
Kids can flip, mix & match the pictures to create a menu that suits their taste. Each page has a different picture of Elle and Pierre on the left and menu items on the right. They drive cars, take a train, ride a sail boat, fly a plane, fly a bird, walk a tight rope, fly a kite, float in a hot air balloon, use a parachute, ride in a blimp all why they travel through France!
There are also some newer menu items on the regular menu as well. On a recent visit, my family and I enjoyed a variety of different dishes. I started off with a delicious Berry Daiquiri. It come in a tall flute and tastes as pretty as it looks!
Next up were appetizers. We enjoyed Brochette Trio which comes with two skewers of grilled chicken, shrimp and beef topped with spicy peanut, teriyaki and red wine sauces. Surprisingly it is only 650 Cal.
The warm spinach artichoke dip is another one of our favorites. It has this perfectly crispy top coat and an ooey-gooey insde.
Brinner is one of our favorite things to eat and at Mimi’s Cafe kids can do just that! My daughter enjoyed the puppy pancakes with chocolate chips and strawberries.
I am trying to be a little more health conscious when ordering my meals so I am very pleased to see a salmon hibachi plate on the menu. You can also choose shrimp and it comes served on a bed of rice with sautéed vegetables, and honey teriyaki glaze.
The Tuscan Style Grilled Chicken is also a great protein rich entree and has a lot of vegetables. Grilled chicken breast, mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables and artichokes comeplete this meal with a side of garlic bread.
My teenager loves to carb load so he chose the beer battered fish and chips. It comes with french fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce. It was actually big enough to share.
For dessert they have everything from Crème Brûlée, to pie to parfaits. The french silk slab pie looked incredibly delicious but we were all to full to try it. Imagine biting into smooth chocolate, coffee and cream with a deep dish flaky, hand-made graham cracker crust and chocolate drizzle. It’s a winner for sure!
