New Patio Menu At Las Brisas Laguna Beach
Laguna Beach offers a wide variety of amazing restaurants, and Las Brisas stands out as a top choice for incredible Mexican food with amazing views.
Perched high above the Pacific Ocean, Las Brisas offers guests a wonderful combination of fresh meat and fish, subtle to robust, clean Mexican flavors, and local produce bursting with flavor.Recently, they introduced their new patio menu where you can dine al fresca with the salty air and listen to the waves crash.
On a recent visit, I started my meal off with a Oceanside Gin Fizz. It was a refreshing raspberry elixir made with Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin, Raspberry-Peach Grand Marnier, hand-made sweet & sour, sugar water, muddled raspberries, and a splash of soda.
My husband had a cucumber-Jalapeño margarita that was spicy and cool. His was made with Tanteo Jalapeño-Infused Tequila, Cointreau Noir, agave nectar, and muddled cucumber.
if you are going to order an appetizer, I highly suggest ordering their guacamole. Wow! It’s chunky and they use cotija cheese on top with really enhances the flavor of the avocado.
Another great choice is the Ahi Tuna Tacos, made with maple chile bacon, filet mignon, pico de gallo, cotija cheese, and jalapeño tater tots. What makes this dish so unique is that the taco shells are not made from a tortilla, instead they are made from rice. So you get a littly crispy texture each time you taske a bit e of the delicious poke.
The cucumber were incredible as well. I contemplated asking for the recipe before I left.
If you like meat, try the filet mignon and bacon tacos. When you bite into them you taste buds will erupt with the flavor of tender, juicy steak and crispy bacon, followed by the taste of cabbage, pickled red onion, pickled carrots, and cotija cheese.
And of course, no good meal goes unfinished without some delicious cheesecake! We had the New York Cheesecake with a crispy shell served with berries and strawberry glaze.
Las Brisas also serves breakfast as well as an incredible Sunday Bruch. For more information visit Las Brisas on Facebook.
