Savor Santa Ana

Last week downtown Santa Ana put on an amazing culinary event called Savor Santa Ana.  My friend and I enjoyed a fun night out sampling bites and beverages while we rode the trolly to various different restaurants.

After we got our tickets we headed over to the coast theater to grab a drink and begin our night! they had live music playing and a farmers market happening right next door.

They haD some of the freshest fruit I have ever tasted! Every stand had cut fruit in a container you could try and it was great to try some new fruits I hadn’t tasted before.

 

One of my favorite stops was a t a restaurant called “Little Sparrow”. we sampled pork belly rolls and had a whiskey cocktail that was to die for.

We also tried some amazing ceviche, crispy potatoes, poke and ice cream sandwiches!

We even stopped by The Velvet Lounge for a photo opportunity!

Towards the end of the night we were so full but we made room for one more delicious dish from KTCHN DTSA. This fried tortilla with scrambled egg and cheese was amazing. I can’t wait to try more entrees in all of the awesome restaurants of DTSA
