Superior Seafood At Spike’s Fish House

Spikes Fish House in Laguna Niguel Is probably my most favorite fast casual restaurant in Orange County. I love the variety of their menu and that I can order Ceviche and Swordfish all the way down to kids chicken sliders.

This past memorial day weekend I enjoyed an early dinner there with my husband and no kids. We started with some Poke Nachos and I was so pleased at how good these were

The Poke was served to us in huge chunks and not chopped in little pieces.It is marinated in a soy dressing giving this simple dish a massive amount of flavor.

For my main dish I chose some shrimp Skewers with brown rice and a side green salad.  For my sauce I chose the Lemon Pesto Aoili which I could put on everything, it is THAT good.

My husband ordered 3 fish skewers (halibut, Ahi and Swordfish) and it was served on a bed of brown rice and a side of steamed vegetables. Perfectly Gluten-Free!

The seafood at Spikes is always fresh and cooked on the spot. They also have many items that are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free friendly.
