Sweet Sips And Biscuits At Lucille’s BBQ – Outdoor dining Available

The restaurant industry has become extremely creative these past 4 months. I am seeing so many fun dining venues that have taken over parking lots, streets, courtyards, and sidewalks to create socially distanced spaces during these unprecedented times. Lucille’s BBQ is no exception! They have expanded their outdoor patio spaces into a veranda-inspired dining experience. They have added colorful umbrellas, and cute tables with checkered table clothes so you feel as if you are having a southern-inspired BBQ picnic.
Currently they are running a promotion called “Sweet Sips and Biscuits” where you get a complimentary glass of either iced tea or Lucille’s Original Sidewalk Lemonade and a basket of freshly-baked biscuits and apple butter. 

Outdoor Dining

We had a very pleasurable dining experience at the Lucille’s in Tustin. All menus were sanitized prior to them handing them to us. All the servers wore a mask the entire time and all tables were appropriately social distanced.

The menu has been condensed but they are still offering so many delicious items! They even have a new menu item: A Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich which is made with crispy fried chicken breast served on a soft brioche bun features a rich, tangy, creamy twist on traditional bbq sauce with a hint of heat.

Lucille’s Cocktails

Watermelon is all the rage right now and Lucille’s Margaritas do not disappoint. Their watermelon Rita is made with 1800 Reposado, Cointreau, watermelon puree, fresh housemade sour and Fever-Tree Ginger Beer.

Also very tastyis their Old Fashioned. On the night we dined with them my husbands drink came in a bottle with smoke! It was awesome. A classic made with muddled cherry and orange, smooth Gentleman Jack Tennessee Whiskey and sugar. Stirred and served on the rocks with a dash of peach bitters.

If you didn’t know yet, you know now…Lucille’s BBQ has the best biscuits on the planet. I dare anyone to challenge me to biscuits that are better than these. These warm buttermilk biscuits are dusted with sugar and served with a sweet apply butter. My eyes roll into the back o my head every time I eat these.

As for their entree’s let’s just say bring your appetite. I love that you can mix and match meats and create an entree that suites your tastes. They have family meals, feasts and combos featuring tri-tip, brisket, ribs, turkey, sausages and so much more.

Lucille’s Desserts

I have two words for you. Snickers Pie. It’s cold, It’s crunchy, it’s delicious!! made with chopped Snickers bars mixed with vanilla bean ice cream in a crisp, chocolate cookie crust and served with homemade caramel and chocolate sauces.

Lucille’s is taking steps to keep everyone safe within the restaurant.

Sanitizing high-contact areas frequently throughout the day

• Offering curbside pickup and delivery options
